Transus:It would be nice if the sites also gave some metric of their readership.
Good call. if someone wants to plug this in to the first post under my site, that's fine with me.
I have about 40-100 readers per day which fluctuates mostly based on when I post reviews. From what I can tell I have about 400+ readers that check in regularly. These numbers trend upward so far. I am particularly encouraged when I see comments that successfully link gamers to a game that they would like. That means I am doing something right.
I tend to Tweet my posts which is a pretty good source of gamers and other game sites. I try to post in appropriate sites and forums to draw readers. In my opinion, it's a two way street - I advise developers to have a website that is easily googled and lightly promoted. Linking from your website to other review sites tend to create a good source of cross traffic and googled based searches that lead to either my site or the developers site = good for you.
