    TANDA IN BAMBOO MADNESS

Hi, here you can find the trailer of our DBP entry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7aAcoSCEU8
The game is an old-school platform game: Tanda, a panda, faces the madness of the Spirit of Bamboo to gain a wonderful prize: something to eat!

We coded about 90% of the engine, and before releasing the complete game we would like to work on enemies' AI, level design and new locations.
We are satisfied about our product, but your feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Reminds me of Kung Fu Panda.  Any inspiration from it?

No, we created Tanda in 2004-2005, before Kung Fu Panda, working for other contest on ARM CPU. We have rewritten our old library porting Tanda on XBOX 360 and windows platform.

Wow, so congrats to you on the original idea.  I can see others making the same mistake I did which kind of sucks for you...

I wouldn't worry abou the comparisons to Kung Fu Panda.  Fighting pandas in anime, and chinese pop culture in the particular, are nothing new.  Ranma had a fighting panda decades ago.

Your game is very pretty.  I'm an old-school platformer fan, and look forward to playing it.
