    Help wanted for 3d Cel-shaded RTS, possiblity of money

    I am currently making a 3d RTS, we just started a month ago, so it does still need a lot of work done on it and it's a fairly new team(we expect one year minimum still needed on it and probably a lot more than that..  trying to be realistic).  This game is partially my way of learning XNA and also a long time dream(of making a 3d RTS) coming true.  The game is being working on as a full time job(~40 hrs/week) for me now but once school starts(3 weeks) I will have to greatly reduce my hours.

    We are creating it using XNA/C# and I have some custom shader effects being used.

    We are looking for another programmer to help speed up the development process, if he/she can understand Riemers tutorials(http://www.riemers.net/eng/Tutorials/xnacsharp.php) then he/she could almost definitely help.

    It'd be nice to split the editor and game into seperate programs in order to speed up the work.

    The team so far:

    • Programmer-I'm the main programmer, I went through Riemers XNA tutorial a month ago and have about 4 years of programming experience in other languages
    • Multiplayer Programmer- Working on the multiplayer development(we hope to allow up to 16(might have to be 8 to keep it going at a realistic speed) people to join a game and play eachother).  We would like to buy a server and allow people to connect to eachother through it.
    • Modeler-Working on making models for us, using anim8tor(I also have access to Solidworks if more complex or special models are needed)
    • Artist/Storyline-We have one person designing the storyline and making concept art for us, he is just beginning programming but hopes to eventually be able to help with the programming.
    • Musician-Finally we have someone who is studying music and would like to write music professionally someday, so he has started working on making the background music for the game.

    As far as general idea behind the game, we would like to have three races: the blobs, mechs, and neos(temporary name).  Each race should be fairly different from eachother.  Example: Mechs begin being able to build a basic land and basic flying unit, which have upgrade slots(ex. add tracks for speed, longer neck for increased sight range, etc.)  Once again e-mail for more info.

    We do hope to get this game to the point where it can be sold and unless we decide otherwise at some point(if you join and can do 5 times the amount of work per hour put into it then I can, it certainly will be considered) we are thinking that we will split the money based upon the number of hours spent by each person.  Currently expensives(3d object converter and server are/will be those expenses) are being paid by me and will be taken out of the profit on the game before the money is split up.
