I know there is most probably a thread about this already so sorry about that I couldn't find what I was looking for so thought I would hop on here and ask quickly.

I have just started here and was going through the walkthrough tutorial and got to the audio section where it tells you to open this program XACT 2 I tryed and it comes up with a window saying.

Xact.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services.

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled

process id=0x20bc (8380), Thread id=0x1c64 (7268).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

And before you say it yes I'm on vista and yes I tryed running as administrator. 

Please can someone help me out I was hoping to finish tonight but doesn't look like it now.

Update
I just tryed to install the service pack reinstalled it even still doesn't work.
