    So I am completely new to this stuff, I barely know C++. I was looking at a starter kit, it says to download the .vsi files but all i saw that was available to download was .msi
    Am I just stupid and is that what i need to download?
    Or is there something else I need.

    Yeah just download the .msi, open it up, and you should be good to go. If at any point you need more help just ask.
