I am trying to fool around with the XBox 360 controller on the PC just to see if I can have it interact in other programs and am unsure about the best way to do this. I have been searching online and found references to XInput. I downloaded an example from here: http://blogs.msdn.com/pstubbs/articles/531008.aspx but when I load it, I get an error trying to compile saying that I am missing DirectX reference. Is the XInput contained within DirectX? If I just download the DirectX SDK, will I have access to the dlls I need?
