    XNA Engine?

Well I'm going to make a game. I got a very helpful book like a year ago and then lost interest but im back again and this summer im determined to do make a game rather than play them. So im planning it out, I think thats a great first step. My question is: Is XNA 2 a game engine? Sorry if this is a newb question.

No, but there are some being written for use with XNA Game Studio. See that big "Search Forums" button at the top? Put "XNA game engine" into the text box next to it and click it. :)

Thank You for the speedy reply. It seems his website is down because the page cannot be found. I'll use Unreal Engine 2.5 unless I can find a better one. Once again thanks.

Edit: What game engine do you guys use at the moment? That are free. I didnt know I could distribute games under the free UE2...

    Re: XNA Engine?

XNA is a framework, which one would use to create a game engine. You might want to check out some of the stuff in the education catalog. Particularly, the starter kits and mini games
It'd be a bloody stupid world if people went around getting killed without dying, wouldn't it?
