    Has anyone pointed out "Fission Mailed" yet? Not really a quote, but iconic all the same. Another that me and my friends use from time to time.

    Just create a new compression preset, pick how compressed you'd like it to be and apply it to your wave bank. You can compress pretty heavily and still have it sound alright.

    Interesting- I like the idea about going down to a planet's surface. Pretty neat! Maybe you could make the physics slightly different when in an atmosphere (more wind resistance when flying, for instance). Then the player uses the same skillset, but has to modify their tactics for slightly slower maneuvering. /shrug Could be interesting. This ...

    I think what makes truly memorable boss fights is taking normal game features and pushing them in a new, interesting way. Mario and Zelda are good (and ubiquitous) examples- every skill the player has can be used in a boss fight, and typically in ways not explored previously.
