  • Re: My little "evil" checklist for peer review stress testing...

I didn't see anything addressing this issue here..  In the evil list it says that any controller has to go through the menu, but in my experience I don't want to do that.  Now with that said any controller can come in and press star the first one to do so is player one.  But we are only allowing player one to navigate the menus.  The ...

  • Re: Windows Graphics -> Xbox Graphics

Sounds like you may need to make full screen true.  The other thing I'm not sure if you guys are getting is that yes the resolution will make things different, but the other thing you have to consider is the ratio. If you set the game to run on 800x600 your making it for a 4:3 ratio but played on an hd wide screen 16:9 ratio then your ...

  • Re: Can Anyone Recommend Me a Good Pen Tablet?

I don't have too much exerience with them, but I picked up a vis tablet for less then $100 it is nice because it is a large 12"x10" screen so fine detail is easier it just dosent make it around the screen as fast due to its size.  But I perfer the larger scale and fine precision.  And it is steady and uniform unlike some I have ...

  • Re: Math.Abs help

I used it in pong so when the ball bounces off a paddle it increases the x axis speed, so I needed a positive value to increase the speed by.  This was multiplied by movefactorPerSecond and gave me the increase.
