It does take some time for it to become active, I know somebody who had to wait a full day before he could run anything on his Xbox, didn't do anything else, just waited.  If it doesn't work for you tomorrow you can try sending an email to creators@microsoft.com.

I recommend checking out the XNA Wiki, they have some excellent code for doing that very thing.  I'm using it for debugging...

I just tried the VS integration, doesn't seem to work so well if you only have the express version installed, I get this error.  I have VS 2005 Pro, but not installed, maybe I'll try that in a bit.

I never play our trivia game, I played it a lot while testing.  Since I have all the questions memorized I find it rather boring now...
