• Re: (help request) does our HD trailer play smoothly on your computer?
Let's keep this thread on topic. You don't like Silverlight? Fine. You think Flash is the be all end all of online media technology? Fine. But keep your little rants and quotes somewhere else please. Thanks.
By on topic you mean lets not look at the facts that large corporation are ...

  • Re: (help request) does our HD trailer play smoothly on your computer?

Yeah, Silverlight is great.... if you don't want 50% of the people to see your trailer. I know I wouldn't. I don't have silverlight and don't intend to get it. Personally, I hate things that *** around with standards and Flash is the web video standard. Its already bad enough that we have to get quicktime... now silverlight? forget ...

  • Re: share marketing that has worked

I think if you want to be a nobody then sure, forget the website and stick to making flash games on here.
Tell that to 2DBoy, whose only web site is a blog.  That doesn't seem to be stopping anyone from buying World of Goo, which I'd be ...

If I can go see the game in action its an immediate plus. I can't fathom why 50% of the games in XBLCG don't have a trailer. The truth is, ...

  • Re: Sprite Test - Which do you think works best?

I'd say the first one looks the best ... but I can't get over those chicken feet he has :D I don't mean to bash your model design, but to me this looks like you did a lot of work on the torso then were quick to finish the legs. I think that if you are going to keep his legs shorter he should at least get some nice boots. ...

  • Rendering after post processing

Hi, I'm new to post processing... I have the bloom effect applied in my game, but I do not want it to affect everything. Right now it is also blurring the HUD. I would like the HUD to render after BLOOM does its runs.... but it seems that you simply add the bloom component and it does its thing... how would I get something to draw ...
