• Re: Creating video files directly in code

What you're describing is basically how Alec described how he created the Aquaria trailer.  http://www.bit-blot.com/?p=191 Instead of writing a movie file, just write out a single bitmap (or png, tga) each frame, and then use a separate program to piece them together into a movie file.  I think Alec used Virtualdub.  ...
There's no other place to go AFAIK. The path isn't big enough to get around them. Oh well, not a big deal.
All that's behind them is a small treasure room.  You need to go back to town and pick up your next quest. I just finished unlocking all the achievements in Journeys this ...

  • Re: What languages should I translate Duality ZF into?

With what you described, I think you'll be in the clear. Even before the multi-language debate, I doubt anybody would flag you for multi-language box art, since there's nothing else that can be done there.

  • Re: Share your sales numbers
I noticed a Massive surge in trial downloads of my game on friday and saturday in the U.S , does anybody know why this has happened??
Probably because Ghouls is included in the Shocktober section on the dashboard.  Downloading the games in there get you added to the contest, so people are going ...

  • Re: C# and XNA to create a "real" game?
With some more hardware updates, and the constant upgrades to the XNA framework; eventually games like Crysis will be possible. Edit: I misspoke C# and XNA are not inherently slow. I meant to say that they are inherently slower than C++
Whether or not you can make Crysis wasn't the ...
And especially happy that we were chosen as one of the Top IGN.com Picks.
Congrats.  Getting picked is really good stuff.  Being was included in the same list.  I've had more sales and trials in the last eleven days than in the last three months combined.

  • Re: Germany and Japan missing from Earnings report
We've identified what we believe is the issue and are working to get this updated. Good news is that the data is there it's just not being displayed correctly and likely will only affect some folks from certain regions (certainly all English speaking countries appear to be fine)
Do you mean that ...

  • Re: Guitar causing xbox sign in?
Are you saying that even though it does force a sign in on a control and doesn't let you play untill you do, i shouldn't have been failed for this? I am fixing the problem, just want to know if i have been failed unfairly?
As long as it's only forcing a sign in on the controller the ...
