I don't know if any of you have used SlimDX, but if you have do you know where I can get tutorials covering the basics? I googled it and there were no beginner tutorials. Can anyone help?

Okay I got my answer from GameDev forums he said to use SlimDX, and right now it's working.

Oh never mind I just looked it up and it's a drag and drop engine is it not? I just need a graphics program like Direct X that works with VB. Oh and it has to be free also.

I finished the 2d tutorial a while back. Now I want to expand the game and add a new level shooting enemies, and different backgrounds. the problem is I have no idea where to download sprites. I have not one artistic bone in my body so creating my own is not an opption. Links please.

I guess it's probably because i'm new to the game developing community that I haven't heard of these, but that is realy cool that there are so many. I'm going to check out the internet mag after my sister gets off =(. why do children love club pengiune so much lol.
