Hi,

I'm doing the Dan Waters tutorial and I have problem finding the Crosswalk Importer or Crosswalk Model Processor in Visual Studio. I have added references to both XSIXNARuntime and Aoftimage.XWImporter but when I try to change the Content Importer from Effect. xna Framework i cant find Crosswalk Importer, and then I cant find the Crosswalk Model Processor either from the  dropdownlists?

I'm I missing something?

I really need help with this one.

When i open Softimage_xnaviewer i can chose the importer and model  processor correctly, but i still get an error when i try to compile, it says

"Error 1 Cannot autodetect which importer to use for "XSIXNARuntime.dll". There are no importers which handle this file type. Specify the importer that handles this file type in your project. "

When i open my own project, one htat i have done after the Dan Waters tutorial I dont even find the right processor or importer at the proerties.

Do I need to do anything more than including Softimage.XWImporter and XSICNARuntime in my referemces catalog?

I hade the softimage xsi 6.5 trial application installed before, but that is uninstalled now, I dont know if that can be a source to the problems?

The problem is that when you download the XNA viewer that XSI comes with, the Softimage.XWImporter file comes up invalid because there is a bad link or somthing.  Go into the project, I can't remember where the file resides in, but just delete it from your project and add it back, and it will work fine.  It looks like XSI just linked it wrong, same thing happened to me.  It dosen't make sense that they would ship something that doesn't work right off the bat, but it is what it is.  The good news is that all you need to do is just re-ad it.  If you need help finding it, let me know I can look and find it again.

It was in the content folders reference folder i had to put the dll references.
