XAXCT3 and XNA 1.0 Refresh

    XAXCT3 and XNA 1.0 Refresh

    Is this combination possible? I figure, that XNA won't recognize the new file format and just fail. I just want a better interface for doing sound design. I really wish Microsoft would just copy the FMOD team and make a better version of FMOD Designer.

    No you must use the version of Xact that gets installed with the version of GS that you are using.

    OK, I've had my fair share of things to say about XACT and the XACT GUI in the past (just ask Scott Selfon), but seriously... just make a better version of FMOD Designer? FMOD Designer is inferior to the XACT GUI in just about every way. Possibly except stability.

    WWISE, on the other hand... that's a different matter.
