Where can I get free resources?

    I just look for a thread which talks about free resources, but I couldn't find it. So, I open this new one to post references to sites in where we can find free resources. My contribution to the list is The Freesound Project, where you can get free sound (not song) files released under the Creative Commons licence.

    SpriteLib images are low-res, aren't they?. Do they look well when they're shown through an HD screen?

    SoundSnap looks very well. I love the categorization. They're pretty good for game developing :D

    yeah spritelib is pretty low -res, but then it's perfect if your going for a retro look.  i tend to use these sort of resources as place holders anyway until i can get enough beer to coax my atrist friends into helping.
