Which graphics card supprt DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model4.1

Which graphics card supprt DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model4.1?
I need both ATI and nVIDIA graphics cards names.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct3D#Direct3D_10.1

That mentions some cards it works on. Apparently the ATI Radeon 3000 series supports it, but NVidia is not producing a card to support 10.1; they have chosen to just wait until Direct3D 11 comes out.

Do you have any real, unspeculative source for that claim?

We are boki. The rest is known.
The not so known part of the rest: It is Björn or Bjoern, but never Bjorn.

Not really, no. I was just summarizing the Wikipedia page I linked. Apologies if that is incorrect or just rumor.

I just found it interesting that the Wikipedia article made such a claim and backed it up with a link to a speculative article - well, more like a new post - only and though (or hoped) you had a better source :)

As nvidia doesn’t speak about unannounced products in public it is only a speculation.

Given the marked lack of enthusiam the 10.1 release has received from developers, I doubt Nvidia is going to bother making HW to conform.  I'm pretty sure 10.1 is destined to be a soon-forgotten point revision of DX.

Re: Which graphics card supprt DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model4.1

I think that statement may be a bit too strong. There are some major benefits (both in perf and programmability) to applications using MSAA. It's very difficult to gauge what the future adoption rate will be. 10.1 came with SP1, so hasn't been available to users for long at all. This combined with the relatively small number of D3D10-exploitive titles (as opposed to D3D9 ports) up to now means that most end-users aren't yet aware of these improvements.

Assuming DX11 is a superset of 10.1, and that NVidia is likely to make a DX11 part, one could say that NVidia will make a "conforming" part, but it's just a matter of how late they are to the party. It's all a matter of timing, and depends on adoption rates of the 10 API, Vista, and their development schedules.

I think DX 10.1 will be as important to DX10 as ps_1_4 was to DX8. Which means, a little bit, but not earth-shattering.

14 days after getting my RROD box back, it's going back for service again. Grr.
