Show off your XNA game screen shots

[Mod: Please post pictures according to this FAQ: http://forums.xna.com/thread/16780.aspx. This includes resizing them to fit and using links where appropriate.]

I hope this thread is okay with the moderators, it’s not really a general question... Unless I phrase it like, "Can I see your screen shots?"

ZiggyWare’s IOTD gallery has a few screen shots, but I know there’s lot more out there. I’m curious to see what everybody is working on and maybe get some inspiration to keep going on my own game.

If you don’t have a web site, you can use sites such as www.imageshack.us to upload your screen shots.

To start the thread, here’s a recent pic from my work-in-progress game.

It's going to be a sci-fi RPG, but it's a long way from finished.

Here is a screen from the game I have been working on for the past month and a half...

Its a multiplayer first person shooter that I hope to have done by the time community arcade goes live.

Looks eerily similar to Warlock on Halo 2 and Wizard on Halo 1. I'm guessing thats what you intended though. Pretty cool screenshot.

Re: Show off your XNA game screen shots

Ok, I need to explain a little bit before you get what's going on in the picture. I'm taking an XNA class at my school, and a friend and I started making what was going to be a first person shooter. My friend, for some reason, wanted to make it into a "gingerbread" FPS, with candy-like weapons. So I made some models for it, but we ended up scrapping the game. So now I have candy related textures and models.

Now I'm trying to make a 3rd person shooter similar to Resident Evil 4 or Gears of War.  I started off by using the skinned model pipeline sample as a base, and I've been building off of that. I added normal mapping to the skinned shader, which is what you see in this screenshot. I just threw one of my "candy" textures onto the dude. The other object was a gumdrop launcher.

That screenshot is from awhile ago. I just added soft shadow mapping to it, but now I need to re-combine the skinned effect and normal effect.

MrLeon: Personally, any candy-themed... well, anything, always wants to make me barf. Even if it was a good game, I wouldn't ever want to play that game because candy is lame >_>

Eh, sorry =\ Please, anything but candy... xD Gum Drop Launchers FTL

I know, I was opposed to the idea too, but my friend has been programming for years, so it was kind of up to him.  He's an excellent programmer... he just sucks at making up good game ideas xD

Re: Show off your XNA game screen shots

I'll toss up a couple of mine.. simple 2d stuff, and nothing complete and ready to release.. problem is I get most of em to 80-90% and then get bored and move on to something else..  ugh.. =(

Info and screenshots can be found at http://www.cdx-games.com .

Kollectiv - new puzzle game that has most of my attention, using game state and particle system..

Toadder - Frogger clone.. 2 playable levels at this time.. still need to do the painstaking artwork and finish the other levels.

Starskimmer - 1st XNA game.. got moving asteroids, controllable ship via gamepad with acceleration, parallax scrolling and got bored.. you can shoot, but you cant die and cant kill anything..

Suu-ey! - pretty much done.. needs menu's, powerups, some better collision detection on the fence obstacles.. infinite levels.. pretty much 100% playable though..

    Forum Lurking - neverending..
