    New Video Tutorials for Beginners

    Hello All,

I would like to formally present to the XNA community a new set of six video tutorials that are designed for beginner programmers. These tutorials were the senior project for myself and another student during our last year at college.

The tutorials start off with drawing a simple cube , and move on through movement, input devices, texturing, collision detection, and sound. They are presented in a video format, along with the code projects, and accompanying write up with tips and tricks learned along the way.

The goal behind these tutorials was not just to show you what the code does, but to explain how the code really works, so that people are able to actually incorporate the code into their own projects, and not simply end up with some hack and slash job that you get with extensive cut-and-pasting.

The tutorials build upon themselves, and because of how they are structured they promote a firm understanding of Object Oriented design.

the tutorials can be found: here!

Please post any comments/critiques/questions here, or you can email me tavataar@gmail.com

    Thanks,
    Matt

    website doesn't work in IE7.

navbar (image below fencer) does not display.

Information is not knowledge, knowledge is not wisdom, wisdom is not truth, truth is not beauty, beauty is not love, love is not music, music is the best! Wisdom is the domain of the Wis (which is extinct).
