View desktop on TV through Xbox 360

Ok, hopefully no one flames me because I have been doing my reasearch on this topic, google has been my best friend today and I have searched these forums too. What I wish to do is view video from the internet on my tv. For instance, I want to use espn360 which is a popup window. As far as I can tell this is not possible.

I know entry level coding, but am in no way capable of completing a task like this. I just figured that somehow there would be a way where you could capture whats on your desktop, in real time, and display it on your tv through xbox 360. Maybe I am wrong. There are no media center add-ins that work for what I am hopeing for because they don't show popups. I have tried using remote desktop control, but to no avail.

I was just wondering if anyone knew any solution to this or just tell me if I'm trying to fight a lost cause.

Also, I'm running Windows XP Media Center edition if that helps and have my Xbox 360 in a wired connection to my computer via ethernet.

Well these forums are really about programming using DirectX (on windows) or XNA Game Studio (windows or 360) so you are a little off topic.

There is no way any of the technologies we cover here can do what you want. XNA GS cannot access the internet and writing a web browser would be a huge task for anyone to do on their own.

Really your best bet is to buy a cheap PC and put it under your TV. If you get a more powerful one you could also run Media Center on it.

If you insist on going through your xbox 360 then the xbox or media center forums would be much better places to ask. Maybe there is a workaround to the pop up problem.
