Any ETA on text input functionality for 360?

    Any ETA on text input functionality for 360?

    I've searched Google and these forums and have realized (correctly I hope) that while I can access the storage component UI for the 360 but I cannot access the text input component via XNA as it is not implemented yet.  Does anyone know if the component will be available before the DBP deadline or is even planned for the future yet?

    Sorry to give such an unhelpful answer, but we haven't announced anything about future release plans or features yet.

    It is a safe bet that as soon as we do have any information, that will appear on the XNA Team Blog, which is the place to watch for such announcements.

    There is pretty much zero chance you will get any new information like this just by asking in the forums. The marketing people would kill us if we started disclosing random details of future product plans in such a haphazard way!  :-)

    When I posted I was thinking maybe there is an announcement channel about this topic I may have missed (blogs, trade shows, etc.)  I'll go google for the XNA Team Blog now.

    I remember seeing a class to insert an text input panel on the 360.
